Laura Bond Jewellery was founded in 2019 and has grown to be the fully-fledged brand that it is today. With unique designs, ethical production, fair pricing, and pieces crafted from responsibly sourced gold, the brand has attracted a strong customer and celebrity fan base including Florence Pugh, Michelle Visage, and Nathalie Emmanuelle, who wore Laura Bond to the 2022 Oscars.  Laura Bond jewellery is available online and at its flagship store on Thistle Street in Edinburgh, which specialises in bespoke ear styling and luxury piercings.

Objectives

Laura Bond initially gained recognition for its strong online presence, but with the opening of its first physical store in Edinburgh, the brand sought the expertise of Four Marketing Agency to successfully launch the flagship store and generate awareness in the local and national press. Our brief was to position Laura Bond as the go-to brand for luxury piercing jewellery in Edinburgh and maintain momentum post-launch to ensure sustained footfall.

Strategy and Implementation

Four Marketing Agency implemented a strategic media relations campaign to increase awareness around the launch and support instore luxury piercings and purchases. In order to achieve this, we supported with an exclusive store opening event by curating a targeted guest list to include key media and influencer contacts.

We also crafted and distributed tailored press releases to announce new collections, award wins, and business profiling opportunities for Laura Bond as well as inviting press and influencers for complimentary piercings to create organic brand exposure. Influencers such as Christopher Hall, Meryl Williams, and Erica Roberts visited the store, sharing their experiences with their audiences.
