Bon Accord was established in 1903 in by the current founder Karen Knowles’ great-great-grandfather in Arbroath, Angus. Bon Accord delivered soft drinks to communities all over Scotland for 100 years. Re-imagined and refreshed in 2016, the Bon Accord Soft Drinks brand is still a family-owned and run business.
The BriefThe well-known Scottish soft drinks brand, Bon Accord, approached Four PR & Marketing to announce that its product would be appearing in Morrison’s stores across Scotland. This included a significant press announcement and work to redefine their brand identity.

The ImpactWe secured 25 pieces of media coverage for Bon Accord, achieving an OTS of over 36.8 million. Notable hits include The Herald, The Scotsman, The Courier, Edinburgh Evening News and Larder Magazine.
Through revised key messaging included in the stockist release, we ensured Bon Accord gained a new reputation for being a healthier, naturally-sweetened, more flavoursome soft drinks and mixer brand.
